Seamus Campbell, President of IND, called the meeting to order. He reviewed the November national and local election results. There were many local wins.
Nominations for the IND Executive Board for the Year 2025 were opened. The following were nominated:

Jeff Coltin of Politico, NY led a discussion of local political race results.
Susannah Pasquantonio provided an update on Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon’s recent actions in the legislature.
Carlos Calzadilla provided an update on State Senator Andrew Gounardes’s recent actions in the legislature. He also led a discussion on messaging going forward.
Seamus announced the following calendar items:
- November 30: Flyering at the Fifth Avenue Tree Lighting
- December 3, 6 pm: Swearing in of Tehillah Berman
- December 4: IND meeting with candidates for City Council and Borough President
- January 12: IND Holiday/New Year’s Party
- January 14: Mayoral Forum co-sponsored by IND, CBID, LID, and BYD
- February 6: Public Advocates Forum, sponsored by the above groups
- February 13: IND Endorsement meeting
