Mark Levine, Comptroller of the City of New York, discussed the state of City finances, the budget gap and possibilities for closing it.
State Senator Zellnor Myrie, (20thSD), gave an update on the State budget, due on April 1, and possible ways to counter actions by the Federal Government.
State Senator Andrew Gounardes, (26th SD), gave an update on legislation he is proposing and/or supporting.
Harry Trussman, representing Congressmember Dan Goldman, thanked IND for its endorsement and gave an update on Goldman’s campaign.
Jack Greenspan, representing State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, thanked IND for its endorsement and gave an update on DiNapoli’s campaign.
Judicial Candidates Linda LoCascio, Christine Ortiz and Danielle Noel thanked IND for its endorsement.
Susannah Pasquantonio, representing Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon, gave an update on her campaign.
Ilyssa Meyer, candidate for District Leader in the 52nd AD, thanked IND for its endorsement and gave an update on her campaign.
