Amendments to the IND Constitution
Amendments to the IND Constitution, which had been previously sent to all members were proposed, seconded, and passed. There were approximately 25 changes to the Constitution, most minor ones meant to codify existing practices. One substantive change, which will not go into effect until 2024, requires returning members to attend at least two meetings per year prior to being allowed to participate in voting. Petitions will be distributed on Monday evening, February 27, and Tuesday evening, February 28, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Park Plaza Diner in Brooklyn Heights.
